QL 6/287[50]
ROY 73[94] sensational news for the Roy fan club
LEE cARSEldine 126[134] heez baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack
This is the guy who might have been a top allrounder but hurt his baaaaack a while ago
SMITH 0/21 [2] hes only a kid

NS 6/111[33.5]
LAUGHLIN 3/8[4] who is he ?
Rhino HARRIS 2/45[8]

During the 9 th over in the NSW innings it rained
So NSW have a reduced target using the D/L system
NW now need 284 off 49 overs to win
OR at this stage another 176 off 91 balls

I reckon QL will win it

Geez no reports on this game from REB
Must be fishing or gardening

Full name Ben Laughlin
Born October 3, 1982, Box Hill, Victoria
Current age 26 years 15 days
Major teams Queensland Academy of Sport
Batting style Right-hand bat
Bowling style Right-arm fast-medium
Relations Father - TJ Laughlin

Things happened quickly for the medium-fast bowler Ben Laughlin towards the end of the 2007-08 season. Laughlin, whose father Trevor played three Tests in the late 1970s, was called on in the final Pura Cup match of the season and earned the wicket of Cameron White in the loss to Victoria. A further reward came when he was given a contract with the Bulls for 2008-09. In the past three years Laughlin has been outstanding in the Brisbane grade competition, collecting 126 breakthroughs, including 50 in 2006-07. Stress fractures hampered him earlier in his career, but he has showed he has overcome the problem and performed strongly for the QAS. Laughlin, a carpenter, relies on an outswinger and changes of pace, attributes that worked well for his former mentor Adam Dale.

Observations

- Nathan Hauritz continues his struggles 0/58 (10 overs)
- Didnt Burt Cockley think that One Day cricket was great. He debuted for the Blues and Perren lbw first ball...sort of went down hill from there 1/59 of 10 with 5nb and 2w
- Queensland have great One Day opening bowlers Hopes 0/11 off 5 and Noffke 2/18 off 7.4

NATHAN HAURITZ
I will try and dissect the MAY-Z/BROD posts
Nathan Hauritz is a good 1 day bowler for a while now until that 0/58 and nearly up to International standard
Nathan Hauritz in the longer form of SS cricket is where he does struggle and dissapoints

totally agree with that! i think hauritz has been the best domestic one day bowler in Australia last year! he is economical (bar this game) and takes wickets at important stages of a match!

LOL. The only one fishing here is mal. Carseldine is a dud. Check out the attack for the Blues in this game. I reckon mally and myself could have knocked up a decent score. Even the Redbacks would have made 300....Qld underperforming again.....

yep hauritz is a very good one-day bowler but doesnt have enough penetration for the longer form of the game. is probably the best spinner we have for one-day cricket and was probably the 2nd best spinner in australia for w ahile there until he was called up to the australian squad and when he came back he was never the same bowler, fast forward a couple of years and what has happened with dan cullen? almost exactly the same thing, 2nd best spinner in aus until he got called up to the national team...

Pretty decent catch in the outfield of that game by WA.

Didn't see who the players were, but one fielder went flying through the air to take the catch. Mid-air thought he might end up over the rope so turns his head and spots a team mate, then throws the ball straight to him for an easy catch.
