Australia struggling at the moment..... 1/22 off of 6 overs, a bit too slow.

Marsh and Ponting still at the crease.

Best call of the summer was a few overs in.

Tony Greig (after Steyn appeals for an LBW against Ponting). "That was out".

Healy: It was going over the top.

Greig: That would have crashed into middle stump.

Healy: Open your other eye and then look at it.

Classic!

How has Marsh taken the Kat's spot at the top of the order? The Kat has scored pretty freely this season so we leave him out of the one dayers. Yet when he wasn't hitting it off the square we played and played him. Meanwhile Marsh has 17 runs at the end of the 11th over. :?

Don't worry REB. It's the selectors job to **** it up. Why open with Hussey? Hopes or Warner would have been a better option. Hussey is more of a hold the innings together type of batsman.

What are everyones thoughts on Mike Hussey opening? Personally i think it was a pretty sh1tty move, Mike Hussey finishes off the innings nicely for us, we need someone at the top of the order who can smash to ball around and get the innings off to a flyer.

Mitch won't get much of a run in the One Dayers I reckon. Bracken would be ahead of him. His hair also puts Mitch's to shame.

yep the single-fest has started, i never understand why captains push all the fielders back and allow easy singles for the middle 30 overs. aust will score easily at 5 an over without taking a risk for the next 15 overs and then try and lift the run rate. surley keep a few up and try and make them hit over the infield and grab a wicket or two cos thats what really restricts the total in the long run
