This game could decide the series, who ever wins this match, will win the series IMO.

Mitchell Johnson comes back in the strengthen the bowling line-up and out goes Harris.

I think Australia will get up and win this one, they are the better ODI team.

I am also happy to see the return of the day/night match, the day game in Tasmania was a bit boring.

Why is that hof? I'm not having a go at you by the way i'm just curious as to what made it seem boring to you compared to a Day/Night game.

Well, i prefer the day/night games as it gives me a chance to sleep in ;) and the day/night game has a better feel to it, the crowd is buzzing and creates a better atmosphere and it gives me something to watch at night, rather than that other crap they dish up on TV.

It probably would have been better if there was a bigger crowd, but they can't do much about it because of the size of the stadium. It wasn't a bad game or anything, i just think the day game just doesn't match it with the day/nighters.

Fair enough hof. I thought it might be the atmosphere and the feel of the crowd that was your reasoning. That's just Tassie though due to the size and layout of the ground. I doubt it would be much different if they had lights down there. You would have grown up with almost all day/night games i guess so i can see why a day fixture would be strange to you. I actually like the day fixures to be honest but it's very uncommon to see day fixtures nowadays and basically only Tassie that has them in Australia. There is just more money to be made with day/night games. As for sleeping in, the game on Sunday started at 9:30am SA time. How late do you want to sleep till you lazy bastard  ;)

I woke up in time for the Tassie match on Sunday and besides, i have a dangerously busy life and if i don't get enough sleep, this could lead to exhaustion and other medical problems. ;)

Sleeping in until ridiculous hours = win.

So In: Johnson, Out: Harris and I guess Tait is out of the picture?

9:30 is too early and especially on a sunday.

11 or 12 is a good time to get up. By the time a day/night game begins you are awake.

I didnt know that there was a game in tassie on sunday until i checked my phone at work. Would have been good watching the second innings when i got home after tea

Do you think maybe they'll have Hauritz as 12th man and play the 4 quicks and make up the other overs with white, hopes and hussey?

No. They won't play hopes to share 10 overs. IMO they will play 3 quicks, Hopes and either Hauritz or White and Hussey to share 10 overs.

I thought this was interesting:
South Africa's coach Mickey Arthur feels sorry for the pressure placed on David Warner and says the hype for the opener is "way over the top". Warner will play his second ODI, and his first at his home ground, on Friday during the third match of the series at the SCG.

Good call. Poor bastard plays one good innings and instantly he's the next big thing.

Would Dave Warner be the first player to represent Australia in a one day game without actually having played a first class game for his state?
