Limited over crickets demise.

Is it just me or is this absolute rubbish. Even the exciting 50 over games lately are lame compared to what they used to be. I beleive 1 simple solution will bring back some spice to the 1 day game...... Stop making pitches like freeways and put some spice into them. Ok every now and then have a road but some of the majority of the classic 1 dayers was when a side chases a target at 4-5 runs an over. Give something back to the bowlers and I beleive genuine intrest will return to this format of the game....
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Everyone assumed it was test cricket at risk because of 20-20. However, I think it's the 50 over game that's actually at risk. I think test cricket is safe as houses, funded by the 20-20 juggernaught.

ODI's now seem caught in between. Not as fast paced as 20-20 but still too contrived to be anywhere near Test cricket. Caught between 3 hours and 5 days, in no man's land.

Dean Jones on 5AA predicted that the next ODI World Cup would be the last

One possible salvation is dividing it into 2 x 25 innings each, as the late David Hookes always called for.
In between signatures .....
