Lets see him play 50 tests now ;)

Really, i didnt realise he had dropped off from the bulls team last year only playing 1 game in 05-06.

Not sure if he is a long term option, dan cullen has taken his spot really...hauritz, another peter mcintyre

He has been talking about moving to NSW for a long time now. When he played for the NT Chief Ministers XI against the BAngas in 2003, with Clarkey, he was talking about it then.

It is no surprise....

He is wank wank wank.

Taity slugged him for 4x6's at the Adel oval just after he got back from India. He is as much of a joke playing test cricket as Sean Young in the 1997 Ashes.

Agree he is overated.

His batting is improving.
Just a shame he is the worst spinner ive ever seen
represent this country.

M/MIKE I hear you play cricket in England.
Whats your regime?

Um Im playing about 20 miles north of Birmingham.
Pretty Cushy really. They pay for my airfares, accom and gave me brand new kit as well as some decent performance incentives!
Its my 2nd season playing over here and I come back to Adelaide when the season here finishes and play with my Grade Club.
Im a batter/offspin bowler

Hauritz couldn't turn the ball if the pitch was on a 45 degree angle.

PAFC 1870

Hauritz invariably has batsmen in 2 minds....4 or 6 !

MAD/MIKE

Same portfolio as me batsman/off spinner
My claim to fame:
Bowled to Gary Sobers/Kim Hughes.
Batted against Terry Jenner.
All in the cricket nets off course.
Im just a scrubber playing hard wicket here.
Played against BAYMAN he hit the ball well.

As for Hauritz I was there the day he took 0/150 odd against
SA at Adelaide Oval and Taity smashed him for 4 sixes.
That was about his first game back from the 3rd test v India

PAFC 1870 Hauritz has a great arm ball...he just over bowls it !!!

Nice work.
I dont really know the Crooks that well, apart from playing against them in Adelaide. Andrew is playing for Lancs in the 1 dayers and batting 3. Interesting he isnt getting much of a go yet in the 4 dayers.
Steve moved to Northants late last season and I think he is playing 1st team at the moment.

Who is the bloke you work with?

Got 5/45 off 19 yesterday and made only 20. Handy bit of cash in the sky rocket for that performance to go on top of 1st game 80 and 2/

Sorry James but I reckon that McIntyre could actually bowl. I'll also never forget his rearguard action in that Shield that SA somehow snaffled off of the Warriors. True, at test level Macca wasn't much of a threat but he was a good bowler for the Redbacks for many seasons.

As for Hauritz, he is leaving a side with no spinners and expects to get a game ahead of Stewie Magill and Jason Krezja (I think it's Jason anyhows...)..what a joke. Send him back over the border Blue Boys. If Hauritz gets a gig for the Australian team I am dead set screwed. Blue Boy, Blinky Bill and Mighty Egirls will have a field day..I'll have to come up with something like 'A champion State turns these hacks into champion players'...which is a fair bloody stretch LOL.

regards,

REB

Mike and dinglinga...i had a season with a club in surrey...they didnt have too much cash so no pay but free board atleast...it was great over there and due to the level i was playing...kinda carved up (only c grade standard with a few old blokes ;)

i know the crooks well, having played with both since i was 9 till about 16. They both were and are very talented and im not surprised they are cracking it in the UK. Steve probably has more ability and talent but isnt too sharp between the ears ;)

Mike, you know me (well, 'of' me anyway) but do i know you? :?

btw, i worked with wiggas at KS in 03 and with parks in 04. Wiggas was funny as a fart in an elevator.

Beau Casson has left WA to move to NSW as well. Will be interesting come selection time with MacGill, Krezja and Hauritz all vying for 2 spots.

I need to correct you no offence.

The 4 spinners are not competing for 2 spots.
I am sure Macgill will agree with me.
Casson, Hauritz and Krezja are competing for the 1 spot left.

PS The worst of this lot is still Hauritz.

dinga, im in the same boat, dual c'ship...ive always wanted to go back, but uni and now work here is a bit of a pain in the ass...trying to get the missus to get a transfer to london with work or i find something so i can go back...

ive got my gear here in the states, but im playing footy here instead....all the leagues here are run by pakis, indians etc and west indians and the pitches are just hard wicket shit...

Good point there eags. Macgill has one of the spots lined up easy. Up to the other three to see if they can get that other spot.

Oh Yes. Nice one. I knew Peachy had been across to the UK. About time the sun came out here. We have a 20/20 on tonight. Hit hard and high while the field is in the ring!!!

i hope SA are pouncing on a few disgruntled players else where...

any word on elliott and if he will continue?

Jimmy - He is continuing from last reports.
Mark Cleary is one to watch. He was nearly gone last season, and even though he scored his maiden 1st class hundred, he was still made 12th man the following week. He may be looking to head back to the Vics or elsewhere. I think he is over in Holland at the moment running amok.

The release of the contracts for SA will be interesting.

Jase Borgas will go close to replacing Tom Plant in the squad as a project opening batter. Had a great year 05/06 opening for sturt.

Higgs is all but dumped from a contract.

Another interesting 2 are Trent Kelly and Ryan Harris. Could well be fighting for one spot?
