That's excellent news! He will be awesome to watch. One of my favourite non-Australians. Obviously the influence/positive experience of Younis Khan would have helped with his decision.

Awesome news, lets see if the SACA can destroy the reputation of another international import!

Fan-bloody-tastic!!
Took the lad down last year and saw Warner's six onto the George Giffen Stand off Tait that got him an international gig...we'll head back to see the nutjob Pakistani in action for sure.
You're right about the parking, Mal. Last year and it was absolutely shocking, the queue was back on North Terrace to get in to the paid car park area. We'll be parking at the train station and walking in this year.
On the plus side, they were so slow in parking and issuing the tickets (obviously a much bigger turnout than expected), that a fella came out and let the boy and I, plus many others, in for free as the game had just started and the line was still loooong.

Pollard and Afridi will certainly add some hitting down the order. And Afridi isn't a bad opening option from time to time. Added to the fact they both bowl means we have a lot of flexibility now. Are we able to get more than 2 international players, or is that it? The Indian sides can pick 3, so wondering if we have the same rule. I do know that since 3 can be picked for the champions league matches it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to go after another even if they won't play in our comp. Just to get them aligned to us if we make it would be most beneficial.
