Adelaide City Council own and run all of the Adelaide Oval carparks (Upark) - SACA have no control over them...

I went and watched the first day of the tour match in the last Ashes series (Lehmann 99) and I'm pretty certain I didn't pay to get in.

Throw a few pebbles at an office window where you think a SACA staff member should be doing some work but is browsing this website.

Like to know when that was changed
End of last week the SACA site had carparking at $7.50
We've sent flyers to our school kids that are participating in the lunch time break on the first day stating car park was $7.50

$10 is a fair price to see an International team playing and I will go for 1 of the days
$15 car park is criminal, all proceeds I assume to the Adelaide City Council, changed my mind wont go at all now
Im not a scab I have my principles, same principles that stop me form shopping in town
I go to town spend $$$ to park my car to buy from the city shopping precincts, a contradiction I say
I only go to town by neccessity these days
Its free for SS matches
However If I park in the carpark for the first session it costs me $5 + for 2 hours
Love watching the cricket but peeved of with the car park fees
Cricket crowds are dwindling these days
Partly thanks to greedy greedy councils
As I have said b4
I would gladly pay $5 to park all day at the cricket
The proviso is that the SACA gets the $$$
Where does it benfit me or cricket if the City Council gets the loot

Adelaide city council are the biggest bandits going around. Ned kelly got hung for robbing people. Would happily pay $10 to park all day providing it went to saca, but not to acc to waste on cocktail parties and the like.

But the council are still bandits.
