How 'country' are we talking? There are plenty of websites around that can advertise players and clubs. I would do a search on Google and go from there.

http://www.cricx.com/recommendations.aspx This is an agent who I'm sure would be able to get it happening the other way. Has many First Class contacts who use him and even your little old Adelaide Grade cricketer covered.

Several people I know have used this bloke to get clubs in the UK and have had very little dramas.

I get e-mails every year around June from Habib, Suresh or one of their mates wanting to join my club for the summer in exchange for accomodation. I can forward them on to you if your secretary doesn't already get them.

LM, I think they must do all the clubs. I know the Bulls get about 20 of them every year, some of them make fascinating reading and list every player that ever played for India or Sri Lanka as a reference.

I recall a few years ago now, a well established A1 ATCA club on the north eastern side of town advertised internationally for a club coach who would also be able to captain the A grade. They received an application and references from an English guy who sounded precisely what they were looking for. When he arrived for the first net session, not only was he a poor coach, he had the skills of a 5th XI player, so they terminated his contract. People who embellish job applications should be shot :)

A young import of this calibre would be handy.
