We need to produce 4 greentops.
The Indians hate bouncy pitches, we should be doing everything to make the 4 venues have pitches like concrete.
Need to get the WACA back to its old self and then replicate it elsewhere

Had the same discussion with my brother a few weeks back. They have blokes who are top 10 scorers Aust vs India of all time, and most of their runs were made with Warne & McGrath led bowling line up. Going to be some long days in the field this summer!!

Nice thought but green tops at Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide might be a bridge to far. Wouldn't be too concerned after the windies bowled well and got some results with a lessee attack then australia's on flatter pitches.

None of their top 6 are still at their peak except maybe Gambhir and apart from Sharma i dont see a huge threat in their attack. Im sure there is gonna be a test where they dig in and accumulate a massive score but i think we will win the test series 2-1

Gambhir is far from his peak - he is nearly out the side. He is the only other batsmen (besides Ponting) in the world to average less then 30 in their last 26 test innings

It has been a bloody long time since India have played three seamers... Aaron is a terrible bowler.

They'll play 3 quicks here and use sehwag as the second spinner

Exactly.
Then we can play 4 quicks and inflict pain on them

Agree.
If we produce batting wickets there there will be a mountain of runs made by both sides.

Vinay Kumar, the Karnataka fast bowler, has been picked as a replacement for the injured Varun Aaron in India's Test squad to Australia. Aaron's injury was detected on Thursday evening, making him India's second first-choice fast bowler to pull out of the squad due to injury. Praveen Kumar had been ruled of the Australia tour late last month after suffering a rib injury.
