will be interesting to see if Darren Berry finally axes Callum from the Strikers team. If he is serious about making the finals Callum does not play again.

For his benefit and the longer term benefit of the Shield team he needs to be dropped. THis format of the game isn't great for him at the moment.

He deserves it in this format. You can not compare formats with one another.

Ferguson is 5/41 from 8.1 overs

Blizzard is 3/70 from 7.3 overs.

It is paramount for team success that common sense prevails and Ferguson spends the night in the nets

Justification with facts.

If he plays I would like to see him open.
He isn't a big hitter but can find gaps and would get boundaries due to the fielding restrictions.
Dan Harris likes to hit the ball hard and clears the boundary therefore he doesn't need to open.
I think Dan should drop down the order.

Isnt Harris and Klinger one of the best opening combos going around?
Reckon they would average close to 40 for the first wicket, outstanding IMO.

So you want to change the one thing that has been working for the strikers, the opening partnerships.

Stampy mentioned the Shield so I figured he must have been talking about all formats?

He is in the side for runs mainly. Bit like ponting in the test team Gus leadership and experience is much needed. He is hitting them well but just to fielders. Bug score is around the cornwr

gun batsman great fielder this sort of cricket is hit or miss especially when your opening pair get good starts like the strikers because you come in and have to start hitting immediately callum could easily poke around but he is unselfishly risking his wicket for the team playing shots . Get off his back his class will rise when needed

Isn't it about winning games than who has the highest opening partnership?
