Strikers v Sixers

Postby The Riddler » Tue Jan 10, 2012 2:28 pm

Must win game for the Strikers if they want to play finals. Interesting to see what line up Chuck Berry goes for but all I know is if Salpietro & Muirhead play in the same team again tonight we'll get pumped.

One thing that has bothered me the whole tournament is why the hell we aren't picking Lee Carseldine?

Our team is one of the worst on paper, but we haven't been doing ourseves any favour with our selections.

We should just go batter heavy, apart from O'B, no one can hit a spot consistently.

I agree would even consider not playing Crossthwaite and just have Cooper keep but Berry loves Crossy.

Here's the side i'd go with tonight

Harris
Klinger
Blizzard
Cooper
Borgas
Carseldine
Crossthwaite/Ferguson
O'Brien
Drew
Richardson
Thomas

Salpietro should never wear a top that says Adelaide on it ever again! Muirhead can't control his deliveries yet, still not up to standard.

Just need to scab 4 overs from one of the red players, did they actually consider the value of all-rounders in T20 when they selected their squad.
