Na we have trials v Port Adelaide this Saturday. Otherwise I may have popped in to see what all the 'hype' is about. We have 6 or so playing for the Egde I think, not sure of the sides.

Think there is a grass growing competition at Glandore today, Cricket club still to take possession for the summer season. Don't think we are planning any trials at this stage.

Premier League is in Darwin and Park 25 today.

West Torrens have a Trial game at Henley

Edge will be tough to beat you'd think. Three of the four semi finalists from last season.

Anyone know how it finished up?

Bad light stops play in the 43rd  Southern Force 8/208. Needed 96 off 7 unlikely win you would have thought.

Saw a bit of the Edge/Force 1st innings.

I don't know how old Matt Weaver is but he's got to be one of the cleanest hitters going around. If they're looking for someone to fill a spot in the Strikers I'd be putting him in before plucking blokes out of Victorian grade cricket.

Looks like PNG are going to struggle. Northern Mavericks got the runs in 27 overs today chasing 144.

Miller again in the runs finishing on 45 Not out.

NT require 65 of 69 (2 wickets in hand) to get Western Grit's 216

Lawford just went for 21 off an over...

Weaves would be 28/29 and you are right, been very good in the short form for a long time and would love for him to get a crack. Very good fielder also.

Only chasing 170 odd I think. From what I have heard PNG compete well with their bowling and fielding but their batting is the weakness. Had no idea how to play a big bean pole like Peter George last week and were found out by the extra bounce.
