Same team.

Smiths bowling has improved enough that i'll call him a part timer. There you have it 2 spinners.

Threats of punching head in - ok... Threats of breaking arms - not ok...

Boof should tell him to go f@#k off back to Zimbabwe

Maybe Flower should sit down with his own side first. Broad deliberately bowls a no ball from 2 foot over the crease at Warner with his first ball of the series and doesnt even get a warning.
Maybe Boof can chat with Flower about that stellar season Flower had at the Redbacks

How so? Is Prior going to bat 5?

Well if that was the case why bring him over in the touring party. In fact why make yourself available to tour

I listened to Flowers entire interview over the issue a couple of times and his explanations were far from convincing, let along the pauses and stutterings.

As has been mentioned would have the player gone home if he had scored 100 in the test, i would suggest not

No way will Bairstow bat after Prior. Have you watched Prior the last 6 tests?
Prior will be the next one to go home sooking after a pair on the flattest wicket in Australia

I doubt Bell will bat at three as they will want to protect him from the new ball. Didn't Root open in England?

God I hope Monty plays, will give us someone else to sledge all day. He makes Phil Tufnell look like Ricky Ponting in the field

Warner, Smith & Clarke

As much as I rate Clarke's bowling for the benefit of the side he must not be allowed to bowl again. If he injures his back agsin we are screwed

I think the balance is right. Why play a dud like Doh or Haxwell. We've got plenty of bowlers in the side now so no need to bowl anyone into the ground. They bowled stuff all in the first test anyway. You win tests by taking twenty wickets, not by bringing in dodgy spinners on a good batting deck.

Tell Flower to get ******. Don't give these pricks anything.

Mental toughness was tested further back than the Bodyline Series and Boof was part of the most mentally strongest team in the history of cricket and he'd see this shit from a mile away. He's outsmarted the Poms in preperation so stuff giving them an out.

The Australian Cricket team have a persona of being rock solid between the ears up until 3-4 years ago and we've been completely piss weak until the weekend.

I wonder back in the 80's how Batsmen would have fared if they complained that Malcolm Marshall threatened to to around the wicket and kill them if they just didn't get out.....

Surely it does no harm to set a boundary on what's acceptable.

It's not about the Poms claiming the moral high ground as they sledge too. If it's made clear what the 'no-go 'areas are there'll be no arguments as to when someone has crossed the line.

its hard to be mentally weak when you are probably the best team the game has ever seen though.

Valid point but we also made the most of our talent as a group too.

Even in earlier days we have been viewed as fierce competitors but over the last few years we've been well below our persona and I understand you have to have down time too. Keep @ them they are showing early alarming signs of cracking like the good South African sides did in the 2000's....
