Australia vs. England Dec 13-17 @ Perth

Quick turn around, Can the Poms recover some form in 3 days? Can they answer the harsh criticism of them thus far? Surely there will be some sort of fight back at some stage.

Can the Aussie quicks back up and keep on top of a hapless English side?

The Ashes could be back in the rightful hand this time next week!

I wonder what Cook would do if he won the toss?

We simply MUST pitch the ball up in this test. Don't get sucked in bouncing blokes on this track. That's what touring teams get wrong. If we pitch the ball up we'll use the bounce more effectively. This will be a good test of the team's maturity. I'm sure Boof will be all over the correct length to bowl at the WACA.

Quote of the series so far from Kerry O'Keefe to Jonathon Agnew "the problem with this English cricket team is that it has too many Englishmen in it"..... Gold!

If Putland pulls up fine from the current shield match get him over there as cover, much rather him to that spud Bollinger!

Nearly 300 shield wickets at 28, 50 test wickets at 26, and 17 in 4 matches this year.

Can't really call him a spud. Putland needs to play a few seasons. Sayers would be the next after douggy and coulter-nile

Yeah but I don't like him lol. I agree with Sayers being next in line, but the extra pace and height of Putland would be more desirable at the WACA.

Not a huge fan of Doug either but he is far from a bad bowler. I think we can all agree that Clint McKay has the most punchable face of anyone in Australian cricket?

Made me think that some PR people all got together and thought, "well, Davey boy's doing all right now. We need to let everyone know how far our suburban boy has come. That'll be great for Davey, great for the Australian cricket product and we can sell him to a few more companies as a brand ambassador. It's good for everyone! The public gets a boy-next-door hero and we get some more cash!".

Cynical, I know.
