I could watch the flight of this ball over and over again:

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cook relieved of captaincy duties..and even his spot in the side very soon.

Since Strauss quit, England have been very average.

I think it'd be a good thing for cricket in general. 1st innings England batted so slowly and their over rates were slow. It was as if they were playing to save this match from the beginning rather than going out and trying to win it. IIRC the series in England was hampered by similar tactics, even though England were favorites then. They seemed very content to try and grind out a draw and wait for Australia to make mistakes by trying to make things happen. Australia, on the other hand, seem to go into each test trying to win.
Possibly, this negative cricket is creating bad form in the English camp, and is just plain crap to watch.

Harris to Cook?
What a pearler! Appears to swing in then curves away.

I have watched it about 20 times already in awe, swings in then curves away.
Fair nut to cop first up

That is fantastic Q. I thought it did some strange things when watching replay, but slowed down like that can really see how good that ball was. The perfect delivery. Cook has got two absolute pearlers this series. Can hardly blame him for that - it would get every batsman on the planet out. But yes, his captaincy both here and in England is bad, they need to find another.

Thanks for putting this up, Q.
Until your GIF, I hadn't actually seen the ball hit the stumps during the replay on Nine because they persist with that crap Orbital replay.

That's a ripper!

I would have played down the wrong line and ended up middling it.

Exactly right- That is probably the ball of the series.

Aside from Cook's 2nd innings dismissal in adelaide where a **** shot got him out- we have bowled some absolute ripping deliveries to dismiss him this series.

Does Cook get a faint edge on it, or is it all movement after it's hit the deck?
