And just because there was more goals doesn't make it a better spectacle than a 1-0, 2-1 etc etc imho

Well it's a better spectacle than 6-22 or whatever they were the other day.

Agree, that's no good either

That's why I think the GABBA is regarded as one of the best pitches in the world, offers a bit for everyone, the batsmen who play there shots, fast bowlers and spinners who are decent

I agree in test matches for sure, but I think scoring 300+ in a one dayer is always good value.

800 runs is a little ridiculous though.

We should start an all star spud team like the Kenny Mcgregor footy one. Call it the Nathan adcock wannabes

yes and no, i think they would just be looking for him to get some time in the middle ready for the real stuff to start. He will be important to SA having a successfull SS season.

He is a better bat than botha, if we can have him at 6 and Botha at 7 we are alot stronger

Think Davey does struggle at the higher level.

Who would be next keeper in line?

Probably Alex Carey, then the bosses son Harry Neilson after that?

He will be once they he is fit.

Of the contracted players Sam Raphael has keeping experience but has focused on his batting the last few seasons. Phil Hughes as we know has filled in for Australia in both Tests (Matt Wade bowled an over) and ODI (Haddin was injured during the game)

Alex Carey lost his contract this year but in the final Premier League round on the weekend probably passed his season aggregate of last year in 1 innings knocking up an undefeated 230.
