Sending them to the U.A.E instead, will play some sides there.

All Australians have been warned to not enter Bangladesh and those there, mainly consular officials, have been advised to head home ASAP.
PAFC. Forever.

They were always going to Dubai as a warm up tournament. No other Western Test Playing Nation has withdrawn so far despite the British government having similar travel advice to our own.

Disappointing indeed, but obviously safety is the biggest priority - and at 19's level I'm sure there would've been some concerned parents about sending their lads if there are warnings advising against it.

I wonder if we're getting a little too cautious with some of these governmental warnings.
If there had been an act of terrorism, or some such, in London, would we still be sending teams over?

Or would a Test tour to India be cancelled?

Security authorities always know more than what the public do, so you have no real option but to trust their advice.

In the UK the ability to ramp up security etc would also be better I would imagine

You sure? Bangladesh has military everywhere.
Britain just had a chain of terrorism threats, which saw public transport halted, and sportsmen and women were still traveling there.

Intelligence services are the important thing, not military.

Those threats would likely have been able to be followed to completion in other countries.

The soccer team didn't stay there tho did they?
I heard they pretty much flew in, played, flew out.
Bit different to the cricket teams that have to stay in hotels for multiple nights.
