Quick thinking!

Great work by Neville.

Holland has out bowled Lyon this innings. Lyon just keeps bowling everything the same speed. 87-91km. At least Holland is varying his pace.

Srumps day 4- Sri Lanka in the boxseat at 8/312 leading by 288. Pretty sure they will declare overnight (maybe bat a bit longer tomorrow to get to a 300 run lead) and go for the win. I don't see us making 290-300 and/or surviving for the draw.

Neville was great by doing that and I am all for it! But if it was the other way around our media and some people would be saying its a disgrace. And not in the spirit of the game

I loved it and I'd have no problem with a wicketkeeper doing the same to one of ours.
It's the umpire who decides whether it's dead and he decided it wasn't.

Rodney Hogg has said as much.

To me the ball clearly wasn't dead so it's just clever. If the Sri Lankan fell over instead of just lifting his foot there would be no issue either

324 to win. We haven't made that many in a 4th innings since 2009, and we lost that Test at The Oval.

Highest 4th Innings total to win a Test at this venue is 130 odd...which we will be lucky to make.
