Ball's dying already going through to Carey.

Typical Traeger
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

We are not even through halfway of day 2. Knock these guys over quick and hopefully show a bit with the bat and you never know

Do Shield finals still go for five days?

As hopeful as I am I have to agree with am B, we'll need 450 minimum at over 4 an over then bowl them out for under 250 in less than a day to have any chance.

Zampa 1/147 No wonder he cant get wickets. Bowling around the wicket to the Right Handers and pitching them 2 feet outside leg not forcing the Vics to play shots. Last time i checked, SA had to take 20 wickets

I'm trying to find a way to believe Jim.

Last 4/10. All out for 460. We peel of a crisp 550. They go defensive and get rolled for 87 and we win by an innings and 3 runs.

We just need to get that 4/10 ;)

A few notes so far:

Chadd Sayers' 7/84 has taken him to 61 wickets for the season, behind only Shaun Tait (65) & Colin Miller (67) for most wickets in a season. Sayers also brought up his 200th wicket for SA.

Alex Carey's five dismissals has tied the record for most dismissals in a season of 58 held by Chris Hartley & Wade Seccombe. Carey needs eight runs this innings to equal the 50 dismissal, 500 run season double achieved previously by Hartley, Adam Gilchrist & Matthew Wade.

Brilliant season by both who have stood up in the Final and not their fault the Shield will be going back to Victoria.

Mainly only seen the highlights of the game so far but Careys catching has been brilliant. Could have conceded 800 otherwise.

I dont really have the solution but the Final format of the top team only having to Draw just doesnt do anything for the game as a spectacle. From memory, there have been too many snooze / run fests in Finals over the years.
Having said that, SAs last Shield win came from a thrilling draw :D
