Can someone explain what Neville did to get into this team.. Carey has been BY FAR the best keeper this year.

Make 140 more runs in 4 less innings than Carey for starters. Nevill made more runs that most of our batsman

Yup, Nevilles runs would've have got him in the side.

Albrecht is my favorite, beautiful ground, very scenic too.

Yup, one day when it when it was overcast and not long after some rains so the ochre of the ranges stood out and the green of the flora was prominent we played a game there. Standing on the North side of the wicket looking towards the ranges, a brother boy turned to me and said, "how good are the ranges in the background"

Red pill, ochre background not the best seeing conditions, though!!

There was a ripper photo in The Australian the day after an NT Invitation XI played the West Indies in 2000, I think the Photographer was on the roof of the basketball Stadium and took the photo with Traeger in the foreground and the McDonnell ranges in the back ground and the resorts and golf course in the middle ground.

Bloody magnificent.

The current SA Assistant coach played in that game (against the WI) and also for Rovers in the ASCA, so he should have a better idea than most on the Traeger Deck!

Pattinson is only one. We had issues with Boland as well. But when Pattinson is up and going, which he is at the moment, then it provides massive issues.

If the deck is a bit slow then that will blunt him a bit, but christ loom out if its a green top.

Can we get through Pattinson?

Depends what kind of deck is ready to go at Traegar i guess, it can favour the spinners at times, and be a little slow.

Definitely need a spinner - last years final showed we missed a trick there - Zampa would have to be the obvious choice.

Hard for Richo - didn't he miss our final last year as well? He's taken 32 wickets this season too.. unlucky for him - last season with the 'backs?

Heard Richo has committed to Tasmania next season, one of the reasons he was rested

Who knows what is going on...this time last year it was Valente to Tasmania....

I do know that any off contract SACA player hasn't been told if they are required next season or not!

True heater. A decent batsman from interstate is apparently on the verge of signing, whomever that maybe, so decisions will be made after that. The fact Dalton has come on so quick has also given the powers that be more food for thought.

I don't think Richo, Raf or Ludeman will be with us

We simply have to roll them today.

The last thing we need is a road where they can bat us out of the game in the first day and a half.

C,Mon the Redbacks. SA cricket fans need this.

Understatement there Brod.

We must win the second session or we are pushing the proverbial up hill.

Mick Lewis may not even need to cheat this year.

Vic playing for the draw from over 1, as any team would do. They won't get themselves out so we need to get them out.
