100 to pope. Young lad has some real talent. Stokes has been awesome with the bat for 12 months, looks a class above.

EG 9/467 Declared
Pope 121 not out
Wood last man out C Nortje B Rabarda 25

Joe Root declared the innings when Wood was dismissed
Or so it 'wood' have been
The disMissAL was overturned as replays showed Rabarda bowled a no ball !
Joe Root changes his mind and EG continue batting
EG re-start at 9/468

EG 9/499 declared
Pope 135 not out
Wood 42 [23]

The question must be asked
Why did Root continue for another few overs and 31 more runs after the initial declaration?
He didnt want last man in Broad to face Rabarda ?

Whatever the reason, it has probably worked
Stumps
SA 2/60

Ollie Pope
Wow, what a dig
He played a couple of back hand reverse ramps off consecutive balls off Rabarda for boundaries in his innings

Kagiso Rabarda
Has been suspended for his raucous animated screaming episode after dismissing Joe Root for one Test match

We thought we were in trouble without Smith and Warner. South Africa are bloody terrible if they are getting thrown around at home by England.

Steyn, Morkel, De Villiers, Amla and JP Duminy have all retired in the past 12 months and Philander at the end of this series. A lot of good players to cover in quick succession

To be honest with you mate, I'm sure we've all fallen victim to a root at one time or another.
