-Kolhi's 254 not out is now his highest test match score, in his 50th test match as captain.
-He became the first Indian captain to score a double century against South Africa in test match cricket and it was his first test match century against South Africa at home.
-He is the fifth Indian batsman to make a 250+ score and the first captain to do so.
-It's his seventh 200+ score, joining Wally Hammond and Mahela Jayawardene at the mark. All 32 previous Indian captains have a combined total of four 200+ scores.
-Apart from Australia he has scored a double century against the other six countries he has played test cricket against.
-With his 254* Kohli climbed 10 places in the list of all time test match run scorers, surpassing the likes of Ross Taylor, Jayasuria, Steve Smith, Bradman, Strauss and Joe Root.
-Now on 7054 runs, he became the equal forth fastest test match batsman to score 7000 runs, in 138 innings, equal with Garry Sobers and Kumar Sangakkara.
-He had scored 210 runs in his previous seven innings in 2019.

South Africa all out for 265, still trailing by 326.
Maharaj 72 and Philander 44*, put on 109 for the ninth wicket. It's up to India if they will enforce the follow on at the start of day 4.

Anyone know why deKock isnt playing for Sth Africa this test, is it something to do with the incident with Rabada in the last test

200 to Rohit Sharma, in some rare form this guy, brings up his 200 same as he did with his 100, a huge six

HAve to feel a bit pissed get India 3/39 including 2 of their best but alas all of a sudden a day later its 4/350 odd
