Crawley finally gets a notable score, finishing with 69* (57). That will help him solidify his spot for England's next test series, against Pakistan in Pakistan in December.

nice to see the poms come back down to Earth with a thud

Loved seeing how quickly and well this aged ;) :D

Mind you, despite being a big Barmy Armier, I was afraid you were right at the time.

As it is, very happy to win six tests in a summer, including a series against the 'at-the-time' number one ranked side in the world

I also said I couldn't see South Africa scoring more than 150 right before their only decent score of the series

Will Jack's in for Foakes and Pope to keep due to illness. We are flying along at 97 for 0 from 13 overs. As expected it's an absolute road but we are fun to watch with our positive batting.

Ridiculous with some key players out

Get to 523 will be second highest score in a days play in a Test Match. Doubt they get to the number one spot with 588

It's a pretty flat Rawalpindi track. There is nothing in the pitch, the outfield is lighting and the Pakis uave bowled a bit of garbage as well.

Only 75 overs bowled. Unreal.

15 more overs and possibly would have beaten the 588.

Pretty unreal batting today. No slogging just pure batting and without root doing anything. Bowling was poor and quick outfield but still a remarkable effort. Brook to me looks like a star in the making.

What a road

Some criticise Adelaide Oval but by crikey this is crazy!

The MCG was going to lose the boxing day test based upon the condition of the pitch. Will the same be said for this mob?

Exactly, have to give their quicks a chance to succeed surely so conceding 506 for the day serves them right for producing a pitch like that.
