Windies 6/268

Never seen a silly point so close to the batsman, his foot is on the edge of the pitch

How’s the effort by Alzarri Joseph, bowled the Windies to victory the day his mother passed away from a long illness. Hope it gave him a slight bit of happiness in a horrid day for him

Awful performance with the bat again. Our batting is trash besides joe and has been for ages. Problem is there is no one in county cricket to bring in. We have no defensive techniques and think the best way to play in every situation is just attack. They should have watched the windies work there arse off to score 300 in over 100 overs.

Hats of to young joseph, he bowled beautifully in what must have been an a very tough morning for him.

Thats Englands problem. You don't play county (long form) cricket when your test side is in action you play 20/20 with lots of imports, recently retired players and grade fill ins.

This is so stupid but I love it, don't you only need to bowl an over every 4 minutes and you get an extra half an hour if you're struggling?

Correct, 4mins 20secons per over if you include the extra 30 mins.

And when you consider the last over only needs to start by stumps, not be finished, its 4:22 per over.
By comparison, turf sides get through their overs in 3mins 30 each.

About time the ICC cracked down on it and penalties should be harsher. The Windies bowled 22 overs in a session which is just pathetic.
