Azhar looked absolutely PLUMB lbw to Holland despite coming well forward.
Ball tracking showed hitting MIDDLE stump HALF WAY UP !!!!!!
Not Out bcos impact was a bees dick outside 3 metres it was determined.
Impact about 2 inches closer to stumps and its given out.

So its not out bcos over 3 metres theirs supposedly too much margin for error to me sure.
So at 299 cm theres NO DOUBT its smashing into middle but at 301 cm theres doubt that it could miss.
So within 2 cm they are saying the accuracy could be out by about 5 inches, enough doubt that the ball could miss the stumps.
Theres simply no logic in that all !!!

Ideally Renshaw opens and Usman bats at 3.

Are we going to reward Shield form for our home Test series, or will they keep picking the same under performing batsmen?

Alex Doolan just made a Ton opening for Tassie.
Will Pucovski just smashed 243 for the Vics batting at 3.

Judging by last years shield stats Doolan had a pretty lean year, managed 55 @ 32.64 but that was with a 247* chucked in, take that out and he averaged 18.

The Ferg, Burns, Doran and Maxwell surely have to come into consideration with the bat, Renshaw is a given.

Pucovski probably a little young still - he's only 18 or 19 isn't he?

He's 20 & that was his second First Class ton I believe. Name or no name but if were picking blokes with 2 FC centuries as test batsmen were in trouble. If he reels off another 2 or 3 this year then lets look at him.

Kids a talent & has been talked up for years, probably the most hyped bat on the scene since M Clarke & P Hughes but without looking the stats up I'd say both had a lot more runs on the board before they were selected.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Makes me sad to say it but I really don't care that we are shit.

I'm still hurting from the culture that festered within the side that thought we'd get away with bullying a young bloke into sand papering the ball in a crucial Test match and when one of our selectors ( Mark Waugh ) says he doesn't know much about one of the guys playing ( Labuschagne's bowling ) it shows how shit we are.

Impossible to support the a structure that continues to pick Shaun Marsh and Peter ******* Siddle when we need to see cultural and generational change.

One bloke I am backing is Tim Paine. He's got his heart and head in the right place and I'm backing him to pull us out of this mess in the short term.

I'm not saying to pick him straight away, but was more posting run makers from the last few days. Clarke and Hughes (to a lesser extent) had to wait their turn as those in the XI were actually performing well.

The Peter Siddle selection is one of the most baffling decisions in recent memory.

I was surprised he was picked for the squad, but when the other two seam bowlers are Neser and Doggett, picking Siddle makes perfect sense.

Seeing Siddle in the team and Abbas taking wickets has made me annoyed with myself for only playing one match last year, I probably should've bowled that day.

Hes selected for his experience.... he doesn't even speak for Gawd sake. I cannot think of one single reason for selecting a 35yo who quietly sits in the background and doesn't score runs.
