Yeah DRS is ‘teaching’ us some of our pre conceived ideas on lbw may not have always been right

I reckon most people give that out love…..Albeit DRS says it’s missing

I only saw the replay, which they showed once, from that, it was Out

I guess he did take a good step forward.

DRS is teaching us that humans don't make that many bad decisions as many think.

Yeah very true. Just so many lb’s like the Ashwin one yesterday that you think are instant plumbs are not actually out

Side note, always had a dislike for Botham, thought he was an arrogant twat, I’ve seen him a couple of times on sportsman’s night and held that opinion. Watching the lunch show I never knew all charity work he had done in his life, I’ve never heard him mention it. Shit his done a lot of good

31 runs to win for South Africa, Ashwin bowling and long on is back so Bavuma easily knocks it down to long on for a single. Not sure why long on would be back at this point, maybe have them up and force them to try and hit Ashwin over the top if you're looking for a wicket?

50 run partnership brought up with overthrows and next ball Bavuma hits the winning runs!

India once again are denied a series win in South Africa.

Ironic that India whinge about the DRS, however, that decision of Elgar was a disgrace. It basically means that every LBW of a spinner whilst a batsman is on the front foot cannot be out.

Warnie said with DRS he'd get a couple of hundred more wickets. Umm, not from what I've been seeing!

The ICC has shown its really the BCCI under a different name. The Indians escape any penalty for their behaviour.

Makes Travis Head fine for swearing an even bigger joke.

Kohli has stepped down as captain.

Just reading some articles, not all is well with the players and the BCCI.

NZ win this series is a good result for Australia in the test championship, given NZ surprisingly poor start to the year and SAF decent start.

Keegan Petersen is a big loss for them, missing this series after getting COVID.
Aiden Markram keeps his spot in the team despite struggling for runs in the last year.

I read on Cricinfo earlier that this is the first test match since January 2008 where NZ hasn't had at least one of Ross Taylor, Kane Williamson and Trent Boult playing. (Taylor is retired obviously, Williamson is still hampered by his elbow injury and Boult is on paternity leave.)

SA have never lost a test series to NZ.

From the batting line up that beat India they have brought in just the two players opener Erwee for Elgar and number 6 Hamza who is the replacement for Peterson.

Fair to say that's their two best batters out of the side for 5 test matches worth of experience.

Ball doing plenty. Edge through slips being the most productive shot.
