Ended up winning by seven wickets, finishing at 3/76, Bairstow with 35*.
Today's win is England's fourth consecutive away test win in a row for the first time since 1957.

Got to give it to Anderson.

I said he was a goner about 18 months ago. Have to take that back.

Very easy action and approach, puts no stress on his body, might still be trundling in when he's 50

Root is a wonderful player of spin, looked so comfortable compared to everyone else. Sri Lanka would be heavy favourites with us batting last on this.

This morning I've watched the day two and day three highlights on the Sri Lankan Cricket YouTube channel, Roots sweeps and especially his reverse sweeps during his innings were absolute class shots. Buttler played some nice sweeps too but some of Roots reverse sweeps were ridiculously good shots.
His run out was ridiculous too! Brilliant bit of fielding from the debutant Oshada Fernando.
