Facing most probably the best 2 swing bowlers in current cricket history yet still sits back on his stumps, no aggression to push forward, just survive.
Was there no observation beforehand ?
Very poor in my opinion despite his painful yet valuable 50 odd runs for the game.
Far better options than him if he is going to continue to bat like that.

A genuine coaching fail that. He doesn't know his own game now.

I miss not having a radio on at work anymore. Back in the day I had a TV in my office!

Wouldn't have taken Spargo as a man who'd use his phone behind the wheel.

******* hilarious seeing these former English hack cricketers saying the sledging is getting personal from the comfort of their lounge chairs contradicting what the current players are experiencing. Absolute rabble.

I would save the yoga exercises and ask him what he has done to Peter Handscomb.

Funny thing is Anderson, Root and Broad are dishing out plenty. It's not one side out there doing all the sledging while the other tries to get on with the game. It's all pretty pathetic really. I think Smith was sledged out of the game to some extent in Adelaide and Broad's send of Handscomb was ridiculous. Biggest bunch of whingers bar none this touring party. The icing on the cake is Ben Duckett pouring a drink on Anderson's head in the same bar that Bairstow 'headbutted' Bancroft. So this bloke Duckett has gone from neddy no name to the most popular bloke in Australia. Everyone will be lining up to buy Benny drinks with the hope that Anderson is nearby to cop a Ducketting. If not, Benny could always drink it.

But - Bob Willis and Ian Botham 'hack' cricketers? Hmmm....hack journalists maybe.

Not sure if sledging Bairstow about his father who committed suicide is approriate though. Thats taking it too far IMO

Is that what actually happened? I'd have thought that info would well and truly have been released by now. If it was it's outrageous and going way too far.

Jonny himself denied it was about that. That is the golden rule of sledging dont mention their missus or immediate family. I would be disappointed if Australia stooped that low.
