Sayers deserves it more than PC but the love of 150+ seamers will see PC get the 3rd spot.

Darren Lehmann has scored a first class hundred more recently that Tim Paine

I think Bancroft is fair enough. Paine I can almost stomach. Almost.

But marsh?!?!?

If they wanna pick a 34 year old Cowan and ferg are both much better options.

Hell even Maxwell averaged 37 in his stint on the subcontinent and has gone ok in the shield.

I just cannot fathom picking marsh again. It makes zero sense

On what planet is Ferg a "much better option" than S Marsh Benny?

I'd like to see some logic & stats behind this call?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Or he's just worked out Shaun Marsh + Mitchell Marsh = 2 - Marsh brothers (who should not play for Australia again).

Rick Darling, Peter Toohey, Julien Weiner and Geoff F****G Marsh have as much credence as Test batsmen. The prosecution rests.

Why do we have these dinosaurs still in charge?
Does it pay bugger all?

Surely a S. Waugh or M. Taylor should be looked at instead of these clowns.
G. Chappell was a great player and one of the best but he’s lost the plot as well.

Gregory Stephen was a great player, an ordinary skipper and a sub standard coach.

I don't rate G.Chappell in most capacities these days, he's become? an absolute pillock. Agreed re Boof, if blokes are selected to play for the national team reckon they need a coach they should f**k off.

I lost respect for G. Chappell when he was here in SA coaching and mentoring and being paid big bucks whilst achieving very little.

He needs to retire and move on........

Reckon Steve is avoiding any involvement in the First Class system as his oldest son Austin gets closer to selection for NSW.... he kept his distance at the last U/19 championships preferring to sit with his wife & other children with the other parents.

Agreed, Rod Marsh didn't exactly endear himself to the locals when he was here either.

My favourite part of any Test is when we open the bowling. I have been looking forward to Starc and Cummins in tandem for months. I have equally been looking forward to this Ashes series being the making of Renshaw as an opener.

Not friggin impressed.
