It's interesting to see some of the info that's starting to be leaked strategically (IMO) ATM.

Craddock is well connected and his article on Warner leaves no doubt as to what might happen to him and for that matter who is emerging as the "brains" behind this stupidity.

The comments attributable to Henriques and Clark regarding Smith being a front are curious too - do they have inside knowledge on how the plan was hatched and have they been talking privately to those in the camp?

People clamoring for comments from Lehmann and Warner forget it, CA's in crisis mode ATM no one will be allowed to talk apart from Sutherland.

The above is pure speculation on my part.

Renshaw is on his way over according to cricket.com.au so that suggests one of the openers won't be there (assuming Handscomb is replacing Smith)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

When it's reported as "sources attributed to..." it was London to brick on he hadn't resigned.

It's the first time in decades I've actually wanted to read articles about cricket.
I'm finding it amusing at the shock and overeaction from regular punters over it.

Life bans for those involved? Plenty of other players from several countries only get life bans for match fixing not scuffing up a cricket ball!

Those with intimate knowledge of the game knows the issue is one of those things that happens but nobody talks about it.

I'm with you heater, life ban is ridiculous.
Suspension and the trial by media will be penalty enough.
I'm gobsmacked the coach has been implicated. Never thought he'd stoop that low.

Good that Renshaw is back in the side. Much better player than Bancroft anyway. If Smith is sacked as captain, Australia could do a lot worse than take a punt on Renshaw - much like South Africa did with Smith when he was made skipper at 21.

Warner apparently doing his best Brad Hodge impersonation........according to Fox Sports.

Seen socialising with non cricket mates drinking champagne and removing himself from the player social media group chat.

Once teammates dont want you around its difficult to remain in the side!

Hire Steve Waugh as next coach

Quit international cricket and become a T20 mercenary? Sound like something Warner would do.

Send them.back to club cricket, not to play, to coach kanga cricket.
Let them feel like a struggling club cricketer for a year.

The quitting option may be taken out of his hands

Mitch Marsh would be ahead of him in the queue.

Woke up to watch Sutherlands initial response at 3 45am.
Prior knowledge was limited to just 3 players... Smith Warner and Bancroft. Sanctions have not been handed down but will be significant. These will be finalised very soon. All 3 players to be sent home tomorrow.
Maxwell and Burns to join Renshaw in SA.
Boof had no prior knowledge and will continue to coach the side.
Tim Paine to continue as Captain.
The teams culture will be addressed.
