Accusations of sharp practice have been ongoing since the start of Test cricket and we are not immune.

Which makes the sanctimonious commentary from former players particularly unpalatable.

Couldn't believe Healy had the nerve to chime in, was our biggest cheat in three decades!

Yes gotta love how all these former players have come out the woodwork and all put their two cents worth in on the issue.

And yep you said it Q, old mate Heals needs to wake up to himself. Maybe he's got a short memory.

Leaving to Warner to challenge by himself it would seem.

Warner on Twitter 15 minutes ago :

I have today let CA know that I fully accept the sanctions imposed on me.

I am truly sorry for my actions and will now do everything I can to be a better person, teammate and role model.

I think CA will be uneasy about this for a long time now.
At least if Warner contested and blew the whistle they would have a reason not to select him, now its going to be very hard not to pick him which wont necessarily be a great thing.

He will still do a tell all and write a book at the end of his career, might be wise for the big end of town to be out of CA by then

Warner hasn't passed year 3 Naplan yet so I doubt whether he'll be writing much.

I don't think or overthink a lot of the time Mr.Boon, very little time spent in the middle. That's what gets me in the shit. I think I may have overthought that.

Yep. I think the presser was so bad that it actually took away his avenue/desire for an appeal.

The fallout from it would have been understood by most, even him.

On reflection, if we're serious about the ASHES in 2019, I'd feel more confident if Siddle was picked instead of Sayers. Fitness not being an issue.

Hats off to the Aussie selectors for having the foresight to recall Tim Paine for the Ashes series. Just imagine if they had stuck with Matthew Wade, he would now be the Aussie Captain.
