I believe the Chris Martin from Coldplay is a better bat than Chris Martin the kiwi.

The Chadd is in a pretty exclusive club, not many players around the world have more test wickets than runs scored.

Just being a bit cynical, although may not have been too far from the truth before our summer

Looked up Bob Massie out of interest and he had taken 21 test wickets in 2 1/2 tests before he scored a run

I think the Australian cricket public have ended up swallowing their pride after we all criticised the inclusion of both Marsh's and Paine.

We need Usman to spend a few hours a day in the nets against quality spin and have some patience with some openers, obviously Davey and Smith leave huge holes up the top, 6 to 11 are cemented.

I reckon he got a 30 odd against the Pakis and with John Watkins, who got about 36, and put on a late order partnership that gave us enough runs to knock them over for a narrow win. Might've been the Test that Max Walker took his 8/143.

Apart form that bloke from New Zealand whose name escapes me would there be any other members

Charles Marriott, 11 wickets (at 8.72), 1 catch, 0 runs

Chris Martin
Tests: 71
Runs: 123 @ 2.36
Wickets: 233 @ 33.81

Chris Martin batting in NZ was one of my favourite batsmen to watch, the crowd used to go nuts when he came in. On the very rare occasions he hit a four they went right off.

Yeah, that was the summer after the his 72 debut in England. I should have written first 2 1/2 tests.

Yep, I was wrong on those three in the Ashes, although I still think Burns should have been given a go at 5 a few years ago. Also always been big on what Mitch's bowling can offer us if it wasn't his number one trick which it has been up till this summer

I watched his 12 not out, it was like he scored a triple ton.

I reckon you're right, he definitely got a bag in that Test though.

Can't remember if it was the same dig but he hit a coverdrive for four and even his teammates went troppo.
