Does Mark Waugh have something against Harris?

Always hear him spruik his favs but has spent the last couple of minutes just ripping shreds off Harris's dismissal..

Ashwin is pretty average outside of India. Lyon bowls well everywhere

Ashwin has more tricks and doesn’t have the benefit of a world class fast bowling unit to support him at the other end.

Lyon builds pressure over time and wears batsmen down whereas Ashwin appears to be constantly looking to win the game for his side.

The ball that got Harris shouldn’t of troubled any top order batter

I think the inside edge exaggerates how much the ball moved so Finch is a tad unlucky but still a very rash shot three deliveries in and not what you want to see. No need to get the knives and pitch forks out for Finch just yet I reckon, I'll reserve my judgment until he bats again to see if he makes any adjustments next innings.

Can't see it happening, but is there an opening for Ferguson if he performs v NSW today?

Gut feel is they wont drop SMarsh though, he'll get the whole series to prove himself.

I think his average is 1.6 against Ashwin so might be a long series.
Ferguson failed again today.
Maybe Maxwell if he goes big today

No footwork, wild swing.

Perhaps he is using the test series as a warm up for the BBL?

Reckon it'll be unchanged.. unless Mitch Marsh scores a big one - then the discussion will be between Handscomb & Head.

Yep. Just didnt do anything at all in the Shield matches heading up to selection. Hopefully pushes his case this weekend.

360 in grade cricket last weekend

Apart from the minor detail of him striking that after selections were made, big scores in grade cricket just mean you are ready to play Sheffield Shield :)
