That clown wouldn’t know shit from clay.

True but it wouldn’t be hard to be the leading run scorer either.

Had to laugh at Brayshaw saying that if Mitch got hold of one it could go up into the 3rd tier. Just hitting it & not as a catch is challenge enough.

Now the top six have all batted, the changes I would make for Sydney are:

Out: Finch and M.Marsh

In: Burns and Wade

Rewards the two blokes who have dominated Sheffield Shield this season.

Top six then Burns, Harris, Khawaja, S.Marsh, Head, Wade.

Is it us and our view of the angle we believe exists that is incorrect.

Where we used to think hitting middle/leg meant missing maybe that was an over estimate of the angle that in reality existed as proven by DRS

Ps AM Bays last paragraph summaries well what I am thinking.

Drs showed it hitting(just) so it’s out.
Stays with umpires decision.
I’m fine with that.

Academically, do you think that, with the displayed trajectory, that the ball-stump contact would have been enough to dislodged one or both bails?

Only reason I ask is that I've seen bails wobble a bit, but stay put, in the past when TV shows that the stumps have been nicked by the ball on the way through to the keeper.

I guess we’ll never know if the bails would have dislodged, but I’m happy to go with the umpires call.

Since we are pretty much ****** up the ads here, it's now a great chance for Head to face as much of Jadjea as possible. The only way for him to get better against spin is to spend the time in the middle. Build a score.

Is Tim Paine the best right hand bat in Australia? He's got Finch and Marsh covered.

He is technically very good in defence. Does not have a huge range of shots but very solid.

I was thinking similar, now we're rooted don't really care how many he gets now I want to see him just bat time. Bat and bat and bat, frustrate the shit out of them and prove to himself he can last on the big stage.

That however was a loose shot.

A tough gig for Head as the young bloke with potential in the current team. In the last he might have been blooded with 5 quality bats ahead of him. All teaching by example the importance of concentration and valuing your wicket. It’s such a shambles at the moment of sub quality players with no heart. I think once Head can finally go on with an innings we’ll see him kick on.
