It’s a rule/law of cricket, if we like it or not. Don’t piss and moan when someone dismisses a batsman following the rules.

If you don’t agree with the rule don’t blame the players give a warning pffft you’ve gotta be f**king kidding me!

What if the batsman has his fingers crossed? Is he barleys?

you are literally taught as a kid to stay in the crease til the ball leaves the bowlers hand!! Don't bitch and moan when you get out that way

I said barleys recently to my kids, they had no idea what I was talking about.
They call it something else these days.

Was it blind cricket where they use a bell in the ball?

No and no. It was hilarious. ******* hilarious.

I was umpiring, and captain, I think, the striker has bumped one to deep mid wicket, they've run one, coming back for the second as long on collects it, I've moved to the off side to watch for the run out, the ball comes in and it was reasonably tight and as he makes his ground he yells, yells CREASE! just before the bowler takes the stumps.

Hilarity from the fielding side, dig a hole and bury me from the batting side.

Don't forget to add extra time for slow over rates too!

We already got to watch substantial amounts of the Perth test. Would much rather Brisbane got moved into a more friendly timeslot.

No international cricket in Australia on Jan 26th.

Adelaide Oval gets a crappy warm up T20 in October, then a pink ball test that will likely be over in 3 days in late November, and that's it. What a joke.

Running between wickets and calling CREASE was used in at least the 1960s/1970s
CREASE was called mostly in schoolyard games of those times
It was used a fair bit in games such as Tippy Go Run

Strange program. Aussies play the New Years Day test then nothing in Australia until some washed out one dayers in March vs New Zealand.

How long are we in India for?

Will the Aussie players get to play some BBL and Shield games for a change?
