He is the new bloke. Last years curator got the axe.
Was the former curator at the WACA, how he even got that job is beyond me.... wasn't even the best curator on the council when he worked with us

Was he at the WACA long? That pitch had been rubbish and boring for the last decade
Had a couple of stints there, 4 years being the head honcho before going to the MCG. the MCG curator is now the man at the Gabba

It's easy to see why the selectors kept persisting with him and at such an early age.

Really fascinating Gilly interview of Cam Bancroft. Certainly his words along with Smiths of last week confirmed that the scandal was Warners idea with Bancoft saying he felt damned if he agreed and damned if he didnt as he felt a need to fit in.
If Gilly scores an interview with Warner it will surely be compelling viewing.

Just strengthen's my thoughts that Smith and Bancroft can rehabilitate their image and get back into the side when their performance warrants it. The last one should be left to rot in First Class cricket and whore himself out to 20/20 leagues.

With 10mm of grass this isnt going to break up and spin.
Needed to be under prepped and 1st 2 innings over by tea on Day 2 to have any hope of getting a result.
Tim Paine not much of a judge and lucky he didnt win the toss, he said we wouldve bowled

Test cricket had a pulse after the first two Tests. People were taking an interest. This disgraceful excuse for a pitch is the last thing Test cricket needed whislt its Bastard Son is played every evening ensuring the average Joe Public makes a beeline for the latter.

This curator has added another nail to the coffin of the longer form of the game. If we are lucky three wickets will fall on Day One. Not good enough.

Grow the pitches in Adelaide and ship them across. We seem to have the best pitches

The contest for the 1st 2 pitches was fantastic, this is a shit mess.

Watching the ball bounce 3 times to keeper on day 1 is not a good sign.
