Yes, listening to Boof on the radio coverage yesterday he said they named a squad of 13 for both tests. God help us.

Just going to throw the following into the mix.

Is this series the first time in 30 years there has not been a NSW player in the Australian team batting in the top 7 spots?

Yes Usman is technically from NSW, but he’s a Queenslander now.

Fun fact, or total BS?

Wade has an abrasive quality that was even deemed too OTP in the previous team culture. Plus hes left handed. Renshaw has done absolutely nothing other than plunder a Grade Cricket attack. Plus hes left handed.
We cannot gift the Indians a batting line up of 6 lefthanders. Its a significant reason as to why we seem to be getting the arse end of the pitches.
Burns is the only one sticking his (right) hand up.

I seriously cannot believe people are calling for Matthew Wade to be put in the test team.

Is this is as low as we can get?

He's the best batsman outside the team at the moment on FORM. Prove otherwise??

More factors go into a selection than that, selecting Mitch Marsh proves that. He is not the future of the team, I think it would be a step backwards

Finch also backs up what you are saying, how did that work out?
I dont think we are in a position to be so picky, lets get the best performed batsman in there.
Selectors need to stop thinking they are some sort of nostradameous and pick guys on their form in SHIELD cricket not BB, looking at you Shane Warne. Most ridiculous thing ive heard come from his mouth and there;s a fair bit of competition but Darcy Short to be slected in Sydney takes the cake

Warne is still cooked from last night.

With so many young players in the team it would not hurt to have a bit of a 'prick' like Wade in the side. Can't just stack to the team with youth and expect them to come good, need a few stop-gaps along the way.

Just think, if Finch & Harris had put on a few more and one of the top 6 scored a big 50, we may well have chased this down. :(
