I heard Starc was a certain starter being a twilight game and he's a "specialist" pink ball bowler.

Siddle doesn't really play cricket anymore as he's a professional cordial mixer, now he's in the Test squad.

Finally though, Renshaw or Burns will open with Harris.

Harris
Renshaw
Labuschagne
Khawaja
Head
Pucovski
Paine
Cummins
Starc
Lyon
Hazlewood

Finally some sense from the selectors. Batting is the weakness, bowling unit can compete when they're up on confidence.

Concerns me that Pucovski makes a double ton at the start of the season then hardly played since (if at all), then into a Test Squad....

The GABBA is the only reason why.

Mitch Marsh averaged less with the bat than any other Aussie in the recent series, Finch was ahead of only him and Hazlewood.

If he plays, which I'd be surprised if he does, seems to be ( from where I sit ) more about exposing him to the system at national level.

I hope they use this as an opportunity to drop Khawaja down the order, he has to bat 4 I think.

In that case, Renshaw to the top with Burns 3 and Uzzie 4.

Is he the Vic lad that cracked an unbeaten 250 and then went on leave due to mental health?

Then i'm of the same opinion as Boon - exposure at the national level is the goal, rather than seeing him as a part of the XI.

Just in time for the Ashes quad to be announced.

I liked what Kholi had to say about us heading over to England, we should listen.

If we don't bat with more patience, that was the difference this summer.
