Spot on. We have a heap of number 6-7 jobbers. The lack of quality batsman in the country is a massive concern.

Our lack of batting depth is the main problem in Australian cricket and has been for awhile.

4/146, Stoinis gone FFS, he was playing well. We won't win from here now.

Pretorious is that puss medium pacer who get wickets because everyone goes after him but is too slow for a batsman to really get ahold of him.

Tahir is an absolute crab, I took great enjoyment seeing Stoinis dispatch him. Even if we lose I would to see him go for 80 plus off his 10 overs.

There's a few names in there that I wouldn't expect to see for too long.

It's hard to even do a line up, not enough batsmen, I'd leave Zampa out along with Agar but one of them would have to play, there's a bit overkill with the medium pacers but none of our top 3 frontline quicks got a gig.

I can see Maxwell batting at 4 or 5, Tye would be the quick I'd leave out, wont really matter though as his one of his other two WA quicks are likely to snap something in the opening game, 4 overs is a lot to get through.

That was the best I've seen him bat in terms of stroke play I reckon. Obviously the situation demanded him to score quickly from the outset and it seemed as though that pressure to score quickly helped and stopped him from mucking around looking to get 'in'. His driving was the feature.

One of the few good things he has done since obligingly trotting over from square leg to sign the nurses outfit adorned by a very intoxicated and slightly less embarrassed Valleys07 on my bucks show on day 3 of the 4th test against India in 2012.

Later in the day he was trapped LBW to Khan for a duck. 3 times. It may have been my vision by that point. I got the best of Shaun Marsh that day, much like the Tassie crowd did last night.

Am I the only one who thinks Tye is overrated and tries too much. he has just gone for 55 off 4 overs and i can not remember a game (internationally) where he has done what he does in BBL.

I just don't rate him.

Right, let's get serious now. Great t oknsee some 4 day cricket around the place at the moment as the first test is only a matter of weeks away now. From what I can see this is not going to be an enjoyable summer of cricket for us, so buckle up everyone.

The batting looks thin, I mean real thin. Bowling still looks ok and they'll probably hold there own. But geez have we got enough runs in us?

May as well prepare a few green tops. Our blokes will get knocked over if we dish up roads at any rate. We ain’t getting Kohli out on a road, so let’s get him ducking & diving.
