Wells will be opening the batting for the 2018/2019 Nathan Adcock ALL SPUD XI.
K Richardson a lock for one of the bowling spots.
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Shield competition starts again Saturday :)

vs Tasmania at Adelaide Oval

I'm hearing no Worrall yet. Just hasn't got the overs under his belt since his injury layoff

Will make interesting naming of Squad tomorrow!

Expect it to be Sayers still then, with Winter, Mennie and Pope.

Sorry!

Is that where players dress in white and bat the same way as the coloured game because that's all they know?

As predicted. 12th man out of Pope or Valente.

Pope not ready but no other spin options. Only Andrews who is much better batter, but bowls pies.

You'd think we'd take in one spinner although Head would be keen not to.

Mennie bowled well against the maps last time round so that will save him.

What's the go with Andrews?
Seems to make 100s for fun (well, not quite, but regularly) at district level, but gets into the middle against the shield boys and looks lost.
Is that a sign that the gap between our district comp and Shield Cricket is too high?
Or is Tom just one of those blokes you see dominate at the lower level, but can't make the final step up?
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
