Tonight's match has been the best one I've seen this season. Thunder win by 1 run, Perth were gone at 5/54 but almost snatched victory with Aston Turner, 60 from 36 nearly won it for them.

Ferg man of the match played well but so did Buttler (55 from 54) and Ahmed bowled really well (2/22 from 4 his four overs) and had a great direct hit run out to have Perth reeling at 5/54.

Thought it was average as best until the last 2 overs which were obviously exciting, was a crap pitch for this type of cricket.

Couple highlights in the field, oldman Watson's catch at slip, what a gem and the run out by Ahmed, and Buttlers fantastic footwork with that runout

The pitches have STUNK this year

Is it that hard to prepare a hard pitch that comes onto the bat?

The pitches have dulled the tournament.
Average spinners becoming influential and the slow Pitches have dulled batsmen.
The best pitch so far was the Scorchers v Strikers game.

It’s actually laughable how bad Lehmann is. Absolute disgrace.

Simply must go.

Nugget f**king Rees would be better than this absolute spud.

Disgraceful he gets a game solely on a surname alone

I’d like Wells at 3, he’s not a hitter but he rarely wastes a ball and rotates strike constantly.
