That's why he got it. 4.25 per over is more valuable than wickets

So if you had a can of coke and packet of chips to give out after the game you would've given them to Shinguard?

That would've been cheese and onion but there's a fair chance that I would've munged them down and had to buy S&V.

The talent is spread very thin across the teams that isn't helping the quality of play.

Time to add another Import

I was going to say Joe Root adds some class to the Thunders order but he's out cheaply, T20 is not really his game.

Ferguson's dismissal was crap.

Sangha is going to play a lot of cricket for Australia in all forms of the game. One of the best up and coming batting talents we have had for a long time. Get him around the Australian tean now, maybe blood him in the one dayers in the new year. Id even throw him in the deep end of the Test team against Sri Lanka, cant be any worse than Marsh and way more upside.

Surely you're not referring to Shaun 'Potential' Marsh? [emoji46]

Now that's a kid I see making the jump to international level very soon...

I think the T20 game is Sangha’s bread and butter.

When I saw Jason Sangha batting in the Australian under 19 games, I had thought he exhibited as a very correct batter
Ive seen bits and pieces in the SS and thought the same[he has made a ton this season]
Now Ive seen him smashem in a 20/20 game
Wow how good is he ?

I thought the other under 19 player Jack Edwards would be the next boom youngstar, maybe they both could be

I think he's a lot better than that. Bowls a bit of leg spin too doesnt he?

This is completely wrong on all fronts.

And this is PRECISELY the problem with our cricket. Lynn is an example. He's great at our level but gets found out at a higher level.

Selectors get induced by the formlines but realistically they are different forms of cricket.

Keep them separate. Tye is a good T20 bowler but cannot play IDO for instance.

When or moreso if we get this right, we might be competitive in the world cups.

"leg spin". interesting. Maybe the pitch.... but it looked like it was going "on with the arm".

In no way am i basing this on a 50 in big bash. I am basing it in technique, temperment, junior form lines, early shield career, and the way he went about it last night. Can you name me the last batsman who had an impact at state level at such an early age? I think you have to go back to Ponting. Its not if this kid makes its when and itll all be about the timing of bringing him in to the test team.
Otherwise, i agree with most things you said. I think there is a massive difference between T20 form and ODI form, perhaps even the biggest in the 3 formats.
