I think the T20 game is Sangha’s bread and butter.

When I saw Jason Sangha batting in the Australian under 19 games, I had thought he exhibited as a very correct batter
Ive seen bits and pieces in the SS and thought the same[he has made a ton this season]
Now Ive seen him smashem in a 20/20 game
Wow how good is he ?

I thought the other under 19 player Jack Edwards would be the next boom youngstar, maybe they both could be

This is completely wrong on all fronts.

And this is PRECISELY the problem with our cricket. Lynn is an example. He's great at our level but gets found out at a higher level.

Selectors get induced by the formlines but realistically they are different forms of cricket.

Keep them separate. Tye is a good T20 bowler but cannot play IDO for instance.

When or moreso if we get this right, we might be competitive in the world cups.

In no way am i basing this on a 50 in big bash. I am basing it in technique, temperment, junior form lines, early shield career, and the way he went about it last night. Can you name me the last batsman who had an impact at state level at such an early age? I think you have to go back to Ponting. Its not if this kid makes its when and itll all be about the timing of bringing him in to the test team.
Otherwise, i agree with most things you said. I think there is a massive difference between T20 form and ODI form, perhaps even the biggest in the 3 formats.
