Why you hate him so much Boon?

I don't hate him, he's probably a ripping bloke, I hate the selection because his straight up and down 130k fodder will be easy pickings.

We've spent our last two domestic summers playing half a year with a Duke ball to get our batsman ready to play a swinging ball, we know the Duke is going to hoop around and Siddle is going to get picked ahead of Starc? Tell me that makes sense.

145k innies vs 130k straight up and down.
You can swing it all you want, it's not gonna matter one bit if you can't hit the pitch.

I maintain that we lost the Adelaide test last year due to Starc's appallingly inaccurate bowling and ensuing byes.

It happened last time in England - as soon as Starc has a bad couple of overs, the batsmen get on top of him and he completely loses control.

It'll surprise me if Hazlewood doesn't play but really he's been in poor form and Siddle's shown every indication on this and previous tours of England that he bowls well in English conditions.

Disagree entirely with you here booney. Siddle is the perfect bowler in these condition, just put the ball in good spots in england and you get rewarded. Look at the past few years or just tim murtagh last test no need to be fast in these conditions. Englands pitches are pretty slow so the faster the bowling the easier the scoring also, blokes that bowl 135 and move it off the pitch in engalnd are very tough to get away.

If you think Starc's red ball form over the past couple of years has him deserving a spot, you've got rocks in your head.

Two length, two trick pony - elite white ball bowler, average test bowler over recent years.
