Missed a real chance here to bowl jimmy to head early. Pretty crap captaincy from root really. Stokes hasnt looked good at all.

Perhaps his calf is giving him a bit of trouble?

Is it just me or has Anderson shortened his run up more?

Anderson has tightness in the calf and is off to hospital for a scan (from BBC)

Micheal Vaughan rates this a 250 run wicket, 300 would be very nice.

If Anderson is out that is a great opportunity for the Aussies. Just need to bat time and wear Broad and Woakes down.

Agree with that, 250 England favs, 300 Aussies favs.....some Starc hitting down the order would be good, oh hang on...
