It's like watching ATCA A3. David Steinway could do a better job.

Smith now averaging 150 in his last 8 Ashes innings.

I love this about test cricket. Backs against the wall, Digging in. Number 10 supporting by valuing his wicket.

At least with Andersons injury we are both playing with 10 now.
Ive said it before but what ever happened to picking your best 11 and then choosing a captain from those 11, Its disgraceful that this bloke gets a game because they haven't got the balls to put a Cummins, Head or Khawaja in charge, **** me its only the captain of a cricket team not the prime minster. We cant win the Ashes with Paine, Carey must come in. Id also go as far as to say it would be the CA board that puts Paine in charge, the selectors would get no say in it

50 partnership of which Siddle has played well, 22 off 50. 8/172 will be starting to annoy England.

Seamers at both ends. Might see them try to buy one soon with some part time spin.

DAR and Wilson have been much better since they stopped making decisions.

8/198 is way better than I thought we would be.

Here is the part time leg spinner Denley. Bowls a maiden. Looked tidy enough.

Siddle goes for 44. Fantastic catch in close by Butler. 9/210.

I think Smith has to hog the strike here,

A century to Smith, and we move on to 9/233 . these hundred plus runs from the last two wickets are gold and show that the pitch is pretty good for batting.

This may not be the 300 we craved but puts us in the game and we await a good bowling performance.

How f**king good is Smudge! Back from where he left and thank f**k he's back. Great work from Sids too, vital runs down the order. Worst dismissal of the innings goes to Paine.

Not at all, this test is exactly why I don’t like drs, it hasn’t corrected all of the mistakes and the team that uses DRS the best is most likely to win, which is shit

When I went to bed the bad decisions had gone 2-2 apiece, I would much rather that than a team having a 4-0 advantage due to picking an umpires call better.

Is Warnerns decision a shocker if neither batsmen thought it was review worthy.

8/130 odd for me.

I wish our batsmen had exploited Anderson's absence and made the Poms seriously toil, but you've got to be pleased with that recovery.
