in the bits and pieces of watching this match i have not seen 1 single threatening ball and Aussie batsmen just taking zero risks knocking it around at about 5 1/2 rpo Should they be going harder? Have found it so boring to watch
SL have been shit ever since the Chucker retired. Will they ever be a force in World Cricket again ?

Never enough for that blight on our game.

Agreed.

And has served his time.
Hasn’t set a foot wrong since returning and has won the trust back off his team mates. Finch has had nothing but praise for him

Sri Lanka's attack is pedestrian but I think the Aussies are doing nothing wrong taking their time, Finch 137 from 124 and Smith 53 from 49 are killing it and looks like their trying to up their intensity now.

Has been a cancer from the very beginning. Cricket is better for him not being present.

Good job you have nothing to do with his selection then isn’t it.
If it’s good enough for his team mates to accept him back it’s good enough for me

Yeah. Aust have plenty to win and the last 10 overs will be entertaining for sure but up until then what ive seen has just been like centre wicket practice with not a lot to get excited about. Got a feeling the next few weeks will be pretty anti climatic as the top 4 looks likely to stay as it is and the top 4 are just playing practice games waiting for the Finals

Maybe lad, I'm comfortable with my stance on the topic. He's done far more damage than good to the game since he's been on the scene in my opnion.

Yeah it's looked like centre wicket practice for Finch and Smith but there's nothing wrong with that, still have to finish off the innings properly though.

Smith bowled by a super yorker from Malinga, damn it.
I was loving his innings tonight, he was in complete control and spent his innings feeding Finch the strike. I was very annoyed with the way he got himself out against Pakistan, maybe I'm being harsh but going hard like that when he didn't really need too isn't his game, tonight's innings playing that anchor role is massive for us and like Root for England he is the glue that holds our batting order together.

And speaking of Joe Root, his innings last night was absolute class.

Not sure why Usman comes under more scrutiny than S. Marsh.

2 run out in the over ffs, brilliant from Udana. SL dragging it back a bit as we've just stumbled a tad. Maxi doing a good job
