Tell you what, find me a better modern day commentator than KP! He doesn’t state the obvious and doesn’t commentate with an ego. He gives the game he is commentating on his full respect and talks through what is happening that is not obvious to you on screen. He is 100% what made Channel 9 in the late 80’s and 90’s. Very Tony Greig and Richie Benaud like...

I read 3 Irish tons and it took me a few seconds to realise what you mean haha.
Much to my surprise the game was still going when I got up this morning, Ireland looked in complete control and when I saw Stirling get run out before turning off I thought their chance to win it was looking unlikely. Good win after being comprehensively beaten in the first two matches.

Is Stokes injured?

Makes it easier being a dead rubber.

Stokes is not 100% fit to bowl, still carrying a quad issue, he is playing in the current test match against Pakistan as a specialist batsman.

2nd ODI which was now to be the 1st ODI between SFricans and England called off due to COVID breaches

1st game initially called off due to some SFRICANS testing positive to COVID, believed this one something to do with breaches by hotel staff

Possibility tour now to be cancelled

Australia have welcomed back their big names for the eight-match limited overs tour of the Caribbean, naming a strong extended 23-man squad for the July tour.

Eight players that were missing from the T20 tour of New Zealand in March have all been included for the tour that will see Australia play five T20s in St Lucia before three ODIs in Barbados.

Steve Smith, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Moises Henriques, wicketkeeper Alex Carey and leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson were all named in Australia's Test squad for the now-cancelled tour of South Africa, missing the series against New Zealand.

Marnus Labuschagne and Cameron Green have both been left out. Labuschagne is currently in England playing county cricket with Glamorgan, while Green has expressed a desire to have a strong pre-season with WA and continue working on his bowling.

Batters Ben McDermott and Ashton Turner and allrounder Daniel Sams – who made himself unavailable for the tour on health and wellbeing grounds – are the players omitted from the side that lost 2-3 to New Zealand in March.

Keep in mind it would need to be a better player from St Lucia, no way they would name their stadium after a player from another island.

I was just about to post the same thing, a 38 test all-rounder with a higher bowling average than batting average? Really??

Cathy Freeman would've been more apt, you don't just name a stadium after someone for the sake of it, you have to be a fair legend to even get a stand named after you in Australia.

I was having a quick look at St Lucias list of international sportsmen and its fair to say Darren Sammy is the length of Flemington greater than any other sportsmen they have on offer.

He is there first and only player to play test cricket for the Windies. There next greatest achievement is having a Davis Cup tennis team.

Still, that name has to stick forever, could've used a sponsors name for the interim or waited until someone exceled at cricket or whatever else the stadium is used for, furthermore, they've selected someone that can't even spell his own name right!!!

West Indies have had a test team for 125 years and his there one and only ever player so I think they would be pretty comfortable he has a place in history forever. Especially given it took them over 100 years to achieve.
