Don’t think it was that bad but he had accumulated too many charges

Didn't say anything to Root or really look at him either just was too close to him while celebrating. I love how fried up he gets, it's his history of indiscretions that has cost him.
It's funny, Rabada gets sighted for that and has been before yet consistent slow over rates and players slowing the game down in various ways are continually overlooked.

India post 340, massive chase on for the Aussies, will be a great challenge.
Starc got spanked and didn't take a wicket, neither of those have happened in a while.

Run rate over 8 but with 8 wickets in hand.

Should be a tight finish.

Jadeja talks Kohli into a review and Smith is not out LBW despite the ball hitting the stumps as it is umpires call. Stupid rule.

Finch LBW was Bullshit. 3rd umpire Michael Gough is a joke. Kept asking for any other angles as it was very tight. None other were available or better and yet then still goes and gives him out  There was no conclusive proof that he didn't have any part of his foot grounded behind the line. Commentators were surprised as well

And then an LBW against Smith
Snicko shows a clear spike as ball passing the bat and Gough amazingly dismisses it as an edge by saying theres clear daylight between bat and pad and the noise must have been something else ? :? If thats the case how the can can they use snicko to give out caught behinds when the 3rd umpire has just dismissed this one as an edge? Was umpires call so not out but these 2 incidents bring into question the use of DRS as the 3rd umpires are so inconsistent with their interpretations of the use of it.

Snicko suggested Smith HIT the ball but 3rd umpire Gough dismissed the technology, so if we cant trust snicko why would we trust ball tracking ?

Finch out stumped not LBW.

For Smith it was daylight between bat and ball. For me the spike came from the bat hitting the pad.

Carey to the wicket as Marnus holes out. Nearly 9 an over now. Going to be tough.

Far out. Carey miscues and it still clears the boundary.

Need some good overs here to get us home. Carey perhaps the key here.

Few interesting things from last nights game which was a cracker

Firstly start of the Indian innings, at the end of the first 6 overs their batsman wanted to change gloves, surely a tactic to get the Aussie bowlers waiting. I remember the days you would bat for hours using the same gloves, dont see the need that they have to be changed so regularly

Good to see the umpires step in after the end of the 6th so then Rohit tries something different at the end of the 7th in getting his bat taped, umps again stepped in and Rohit wasn't happy.

Indians continually running down the centre of the pitch, sure it happens form time to time but every run, straight out blatant cheating, good to see them again get pinned for it.

Piss the DRS off, 3rd umpires cant even get the decisions right using it so whats the point.

Was an enjoyable game though, cant wait for the 3rd and final one
You cant change your past but you can sure hell shape you future
