At the last WC 2 years ago Afghanistan finished 4th and were beaten by us in the semis. Saffers finished 5th after being knocked out in the quarters. Saffers are hosting it this year though so a good win by the Afghans

Yep.

Needs a big ton. More so in quick time and not burn too many balls.

Carey may cause havoc here given the chance.

Lol, send in Starc at 5 because Smith and Labuschagne are batting for their average

Run rate about 5.3 now. Must get going or will only get around 300/310.

Carey still could cause havoc.

We have batted too slow once again and will pay the price. Probably going to be 30-40 short

This is just pathetic, how does Turner continue to get games?

Because he is one of Langers boys.
List A average of 33.83 and highest List A score is the 84* he made for Australia, never made a list A century.

Needed that over. 290-300 will be tough to get - No one else is pushing past the 100 strike rate and India look to be bowling well. If we bowl we’ll it will be tough.

That helicopter 6 was an unreal shot!

I have no problem with Smith and Marnie batting as they did... but then the last 10 overs just has to have someone to slam home the big score... Maxie come back all is forgiven.

Turner and Agar should not be taken to South Africa.

They will just about get that inside 40 overs. Absolutely pathetic from Smith, Turner and Agar. Langer must really hate Maxwell. The selections since Langer has been a selector has been diabolical. Bancroft in the test arena and now Turner and Agar at ODI level.

Add to that the Starc Ashes omission & dropping Head for the fifth Ashes test when they should’ve won 3-1 over there.
Forget the PR fanfare, The bloke clearly is a yes man & plays favourites.

I think Starc sitting out the Birmingham test was a good choice but agree with the rest of the above.

It's the national team coach playing favourites which I can't stand. Would be easier to wear if the Socceroos coach wasn't exactly the same.
