Just can’t get this last wicket. Balls hit in the air falling just short, dropped catch, run out chances...

Interesting declaration by Victoria over NSW, declared with a lead of 289 with plenty of time for NSW to get the runs

WA made no effort to win so don’t give them a chance

We are still a mathematical possibility of making the final albeit slim. It’s up to us to dictate how this ends. I’d rather see us set them something to chase rather then bat too long and end up with a boring draw

With how we batted the last 10 overs, we aren’t pushing for a result. We’ll get to the position of it being “unlosable” and then try to bowl them out.

I do agree with you, at a guess they will bat for 5-10 overs this morning to set a total of around 330-340 from 80 overs, perhaps they didn't want to get too far ahead?

One would've thought to have a dip though and set them 350-360 from the full quota of overs, especially considering that as poor as our season has been, we can still make the final.
